Catch Our Next "Science Cafe"
The Discovery Center sponsors monthly Science Cafe topics at Red Feather, and invites the public to join in an open discussion. Science Cafe is part of our ongoing adult education series, and addresses scientific topics taken right from current headlines. DCI invites topic experts to promote and host each monthly discussion, so whether you come to participate or just to listen it will be an educational and fun experience. After School Robot Club
The Discovery Center is happy to announce a new ROBOTICS CLUB, developed in response to the requests of our students. The group will meet in the DCI classroom from 4-6 p.m. on alternating Fridays, starting on January 15, and will be open to grades 3-7. Parents are also encouraged to attend. A small fee of $10 per child per meeting will be charged to cover the cost of the robotics kits and other expenses. Guiding the group will be Michael Merkley, who taught the Robotics class at DCI in December. The group will be limited to 15 participants, so it’s important to register early by contacting us at 208.343.9895 x234. Hope you can join us on Friday!
