Young Discoverers

Young Discoverers (Story/Activity Time) takes place several times each week. Parents and preschool children (ages 3-5) are invited to come to our walk-in discovery times. No pre-registration is required, and there is no additional cost beyond the regular museum admission fee to attend.

For our preschool groups, presentations are available. Our current selections include: Tip, Tilt and Balance or Light and Sight. At the time of your group booking, please ask for current details as to the time and dates available if you are interested in attending a pre-school presentation.

Visit Discovery Market, where little ones are encouraged to explore, imagine and discover through cooperative play learning valuable life skills, for 5 and under.

Bring the little ones to the Pet Hospital, where they can put on a hospital smock, try out a stethoscope and look at x-rays before they care for our array of stuffed animals.
